Please refer to the chart below to choose the proper size for your hat.

IMPORTANT:
Sizes on this site are merely suggested by general guidelines.  Since each child is different, it is important that you order by your child's HEAD SIZE and not by his or her age or clothing size.

FOR CUSTOME MADE DESIGNS:
Measure around child's head at middle of forehead.  Next, measure from the top of your child's head to the middle of his or her forehead.  Note these measurements on your order form.  If you would like a roll-up brim, please specify on form (generally I make roll-up brims one inch longer than your child's measurement).

FOR IN-STOCK DESIGNS:
In-stock hats have measurements listed with them.  The larger measurement is the head circumference UNSTRETCHED, and smaller measurement is from crown of head to middle of forehead.  Take the same measurements to determine if the hat you want will fit your child.  Many of the designs have brims included so can be adjusted lengthwise.  Generally hats will stretch to about 1 to 1 1/2 inches larger.  Some yarns yield less and in these instances I have made note that they will not stretch as much.
